This screen-printed community story quilt is composed of individual prints representing family and community stories. Created at an art-making workshop in our maker studio, the making process and artwork produced serve as artifacts that inform AIMS Center’s design-based research project. Interests and community assets revealed through the art-making at this and other workshops will inform AIMS efforts to design a makerspace where youth and families feel they belong, leading AIMS toward a community codesigned makerspace.
