#1269: Pedagogical Zine Library
In the Learning Sciences community, there has been a history of engaging youth, educators, and other community members with research through curricula, programs, professional development, and more. We see potential in expanding engagement with creative forms such as zines, which are self-published and self-distributed work often in the form of printed text and images. In this art gallery work, we will share a Zine Library that features zines informal educators have created in our workshops over the last 3 years, featuring the “What Equity Means to Me,” and “Now What?” zines. In the spirit of making and sharing zines, we encourage other ISLS participants to share zines via social media or invitations to other researchers who have created research zines. During the conference, we will invite people to add to the zine library, either through engaging with our interactive zines or creating their own zines using the mini-zine format.
