#1306: CoDialogue Space: Design of AI-supported Collaborative Learning Platform

This paper introduces CoDialogue Space, a generative AI–supported collaborative learning platform that provides real-time facilitation during group dialogue. While computer-supported collaborative learning holds promise, it often depends on ad hoc analysis, scripted prompts, and static scaffolds. CoDialogue Space addresses these limitations through discursive facilitation strategies, multiuser–AI interaction, adaptive facilitation levels, and instructor-configurable prompts without requiring coding. We present its design features, offering a scalable, theoretically grounded environment for advancing AI-mediated collaborative learning.
