#1280: The Connected Spaces Dashboard: Fostering Peer-to-peer Collaboration Through Ambient Maker Profiles

The Connected Spaces Dashboard is a tool designed to foster maker identity development, peripheral awareness, and the promotion of student help seeking behaviors. Developed iteratively across several years, prototypes of the Dashboard range from lo-fi solutions to in-house developed applications. Beneath these external embodiments, there are a number of frameworks and scaffolds developed to facilitate student interactions and engagement with the Dashboard as a rich identity resource. In this interactive demo, participants will have a chance to utilize these scaffolds alongside a specially tailored version of the Dashboard to develop peripheral awareness with their peers.
