#790: The Instructional Design Process for Youth Ensemble Devising

While models exist for stages of devising in professional theatre, studies of what the process of devising looks like for youth in informal learning environments are limited. In these spaces, students create original theatre together with the guidance of a teaching artist. This study focuses on three cases of instructional design processes developed by four teaching artists. Findings illustrate a conceptual framework for the instructional design of ensemble devising.
