Partnerships can support teachers as they work toward rehumanizing classrooms. Togetherness among educators, which Baldinger et al. (2025) propose as involving solidarity, mutually, and human connection, can support humanizing, justice-focused learning for educators. This paper investigates ways in which two teachers and a research partner resisted limiting institutional pressures to choose togetherness in their ongoing work to design humanizing and liberatory learning experiences for young people.
