This study begins to examine how co-design has been enacted in different ways across two decades of Learning Sciences research. Network analysis of 136 coded ICLS papers (2004–2025) revealed three modular configurations of practice linked by bridging nodes such as museums. The analysis demonstrates how open data on research and bibliometrics can help the pluralistic field of the Learning Sciences better understand and shape how and why co-design is deployed in research and practice.
