WIT is a collaborative platform that leverages agent-based participatory simulations and headset-based mixed reality to immerse learners in exploring complex phenomena. This session will demonstrate several key features of WIT through an example weather simulation, including its modeling of complex phenomena, modes of interaction, and data visualization tools. Preliminary findings that illustrate the platform’s promise in encouraging learner inquiry of abstract phenomena, such as air pressure within complex systems, will also be discussed.
