Rotating leadership emerges in successful collaboration. This study investigates the extent to which their multimodal interactions are synchronized or not, along with the rotating leadership of transactive discourse (LoT). Nine groups of three members participated in a 45-minute co-located CPS task, and their spatial positions were collected. The results suggest that in addition to the synchronization of the spatial positioning, desynchronization was observed in rotating LoT. The potential use of the kinesthetic modality is discussed.
