#1096: One Size Fits All? Learner-Adaptive Peer Feedback and Perceived Feedback Adequacy in Pre-Service Teacher Education

Wed Jun 17, 4:15 PM–5:45 PM · Outdoors

Peer feedback can effectively facilitate pre-service teachers’ evidence-informed reasoning in CSCL environments. Based on the RESOLV-model, we examine if peer feedback providers plan and formulate their peer feedback messages differently depending on the perceived skill level of the peer feedback recipient. This will be analyzed by assessing the feedback feature constellations of feedback provided by N=297 pre-service teachers during a psychology course. We expect that the more feedback providers adapt their feedback, the more positively this will affect recipients’ acceptance.
