#621: An Exploratory Factor Analysis of K–12 Teachers’ Perceptions of Artificial Intelligence in the Classroom

This study examines K–12 teachers’ perceptions of AI in education using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) on survey data from 139 participants. Four interrelated factors were identified: Barriers & Anxiety, Professional Engagement & Instructional Readiness, Ethical & Responsible AI Use, and Resource Support & Conceptual Awareness. These findings contribute to understanding how K-12 teachers perceive AI integration.
