#408: What Does It Mean to Be a “Quantum Kind of Person”? Identity Formation in an Emerging STEM Field

Quantum information science is an emerging field largely absent from K-12 settings, creating challenges for identity formation. Through cognitive interviews with six high school students and five undergraduate students, we examine how students evaluate quantum identity.
