#173: Bloom’s Waterfall
Wed Jun 17, 4:15 PM–5:45 PM · Outdoors
This poster, a conceptual contribution, reframes Bloom’s Taxonomy’s pyramid model, proposing a waterfall frame where creation is the generative source. Higher-order thinking cascades downward, naturally engaging lower-order skills. Grounded in constructionist learning theory, this model suggests learning starts with complex creation, not remembering or even understanding. It challenges traditional instructional design sequencing and offers a new perspective for designing rich learning environments that better reflect how humans naturally develop deep, contextualized enactive knowledge and skill.
