#148: Understanding Play and Inclusion through Interaction Analysis

In this poster, we present interaction analysis from video data of a playful learning episode in an inclusive elementary classroom. We found that, as a methodology, interaction analysis revealed the ways that adults’ instructional moves expansively position children’s ideas as valid contributions. We aim to spark conversation in the Learning Science community around intersections of dignity, inclusion, and playful learning.
