This study aims to develop a composite tool to assess collaborative skills in low-income urban adolescents exposed to Project-Based Learning with Technology (PBLT) in government schools, within the Smart Partnership context in Mumbai, India. The tool combines a comprehensive literature review and systematic observations, using a task-based observation rating scale, vignettes, and semi-structured interviews to capture difficult sub-constructs of collaboration. It will be tested for reliability and validity while understanding pedagogies for developing collaboration in similar settings.
