#876: The PLT Framework: A Teacher’s Guide for Evaluating and Choosing CS EdTech
Wed Jun 17, 4:15 PM–5:45 PM · Online
Programmable learning technologies (PLTs) are especially advantageous for introducing computing to young students in an interactive and engaging manner. However, teachers wishing to incorporate PLTs in their curricula often lack adequate time and background to strategically choose PLTs for their lesson plans. To navigate PLT complexity, we developed and tested the PLT Framework to classify PLTs’ instructional properties and guide educators in identifying which tool best serves their pedagogical needs.
