This study explored how Métis women in Canada experience online post-secondary education through the lens of cultural identity. Using narrative analysis, findings from eleven participants reveal that while online learning offers flexibility and access, it often lacks cultural safety, community, and recognition of Métis identity. Participants described isolation, microaggressions, and expectations to educate others, yet emphasized the transformative value of Indigenous-only spaces. Métis identity shaped belonging, resilience, and feminist perspectives rooted in relationality, collective responsibility, and cultural continuity.
