#583: Personalized Learning Analytics Dashboards in Higher Education: Fostering Self-Regulated Learning and Student Agency

This rapid scoping review examines how personalized learning analytics dashboards (LADs) foster self-regulated learning (SRL) and student agency in higher education. Following the PRISMA guidelines, it synthesizes findings from twelve articles (2023-2025) grounded in SRL theory and student agency theory. Key findings indicate: (1) personalized feedback in LADs promote metacognitive reflection and goal setting, and (2) data visualization enhance metacognitive awareness. This review highlights the benefits while also acknowledging limitations in overlooking potential challenges.
