#414: Sequencing Immersive Simulations for Cybersecurity: Task Complexity and Efficiency

VR is increasingly used for safety training, yet how the order of instruction and VR learning influences outcomes remains unclear. We invited students (N = 44) to complete two short vehicle security lessons using PowerPoint and VR materials presented in different orders. Although the order did not significantly affect test scores, students who studied PowerPoint first tended to perform better with fewer attempts, while those starting with VR often showed confusion by revisiting nonessential panels.
