This study analyzed learner experiences in a graduate course on universal design. Using network analysis on reflections from 15 students, we identified two distinct engagement patterns. One cluster emphasized transformation and identity development while struggling with technical tools. The other valued structured learning theory and community. Findings suggest that courses preparing learning designers should intentionally support a complex diversity of learning experiences.
