#206: Co-Intelligence Instructional Coaching: A Concept Analysis of Human–AI Collaboration in Teacher Professional Development

Artificial intelligence (AI), a major driver of educational transformation, can complement instructional coaching to strengthen teacher professional development. While instructional coaching is effective, its scalability is limited by the shortage of qualified coaches. This study introduces Co-Intelligence Instructional Coaching, a hybrid concept combining AI with human expertise. Through conceptual analysis, it identifies the antecedents, attributes, and consequences of this model, providing a foundation for future inquiry and practice with added relevance for underserved contexts.
